Hopkins Village is a charming beach village located along the coast of the Stann Creek District in southern Belize. Hopkins Village, founded in 1942, started as a small farming and fishing community.

The town now has around 3,000 residents and people recognize it as the cultural center of the Garifuna people in Belize. Hopkins was recently named “The Friendliest Place in Belize” by Belize’s First Magazine. A great place to enjoy the warm and welcoming Garifuna culture experience exists.
